T.I.

T.I. is arguably known as one of the most popular rappers in the trap subgenre, alongside Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane.

TI has ten studio albums to his credit, seven of which reached the top 5 on the Billboard 200. During his career, TI released an increasing number of successful singles such as Bring Em Out, Whatever You Like, Live Your Life (with Rihanna), Dead and Gone (with Justin Timberlake), Ball (with Lil Wayne) and No Mediocre (with Iggy Azalea).

He became much more popular in 2003 by collaborating with Bone Crusher on the hit single Never Scared. He became even more popular with the album Trap Muzik (2003), which included the hits Rubber Band Man and Let's Get Away.

The following year, T.I. participated in Destiny's Child's international hit, Soldier with Lil Wayne. His subsequent albums, King and T.I. vs. T.I.P., generate good sales and contain hit singles like What You Know and Big Shit Poppin '(Do It).

T.I.'s sixth album, Paper Trail (2008), is his best-received album to date, certified gold by the RIAA with sales of 500,000 copies in the United States. It contains the singles Whatever You Like, Live Your Life and Dead and Gone.

In 2013, T.I. participated in Robin Thicke's single Blurred Lines, with Pharrell Williams, which reached number one in the international charts.

T.I. has three Grammy Awards, in the categories "best rap solo performance", "best performance of a group or duo" and "best song / rapped collaboration".
