SEAN PAUL

 

​Born in Kingston, Jamaica. His mother is a renowned Jamaican painter of English and Sino-Jamaican descent, his father is of Portuguese and Afro-Caribbean descent. As a teenager, he discovered a vocation for sport at school, a field in which he would experience some success since he would represent Jamaica in international water polo competitions. However, he eventually turned to music.
He has produced six albums throughout his career: Stage One (2000), Dutty Rock (2002), The Trinity (2005), Imperial Blaze (2009) Tomahawk Technique (2011) and Full Frequency (2014). Since 2012, he has sold more than 10 million records worldwide1,2.

At the beginning of his career, he was a member of the Dutty Cup Crew collective which includes Sean Paul, Looga Man, Kurup, Chicken, and Mossy Kid3.
