In November 2003, G-Unit's Beg for Mercy was released, which for more than four months remained in the top 20 of the Billboard 2000 charts. Earlier in the same year, Banks was named Mixtape Artist of the Year 2003 thanks to his appearances as much on G-Unit's mixtapes as on his own in Money in the Bank.

His first solo album released in 2004 is called The Hunger For More, it includes the track On Fire, "Karma" as well as "I'm So Fly". This first album sold 4 million copies worldwide.

His second album, entitled "Rotten Apple" was released on October 10, 2006. It is notably composed of the single "Hands Up" (feat. 50 cent), "The Cake" (still in feat. With 50 Cent) and "Help "(feat. Keri Hilson). This album is a gold record.

In January 2010, Banks announced a new track Beamer, Benz, or Bentley featuring Juelz Santana, from his upcoming album, reaching 49th place on the Billboard Hot 100.
