Konshens was propelled to the forefront of the Jamaican scene in 2008 with a big hit "Winner" that we will hear repeatedly across the island and beyond, and other well-received titles like "Rasta Imposter". He continued his journey in 2009, with a big hit in duet with Tarrus Riley "Good Girl Gone Bad".

It is indeed his “gyal tunes” that will bring the most success to Konshens. "Gal Dem A Talk" prepared the ground in 2010, then the artist exploded with the hits "Gyal A Bubble" and "Stop Sign" in 2012. With these titles, Konshens became particularly popular in Europe. His first album “Mental Maintenance” was also released in 2012. The year 2013 was marked by two of his very different featurings, “Pull up to mi bumper” with J Capri and “We no worry bout them” with Romain Virgo.
